Lalique is a successor to the fragrance Amethyst from 2007, inspired by the gemstone Amethyst, and was launched in July 2014. The name of the fragrance is Lalique Amethyst Eclat, and it comes in the same bottle shape as Amethyst, adorned with peony-decorated flowers, blackberries, and raspberries as decorations on the body of the bottle. The color of the bottle is also purple like previous editions, in slightly lighter shades, shimmering from the darkest to the lightest tones. The only difference is the smallest bottle, 30 ml, which features a relief design in the same style instead of the silver depiction on the bottle. The new fragrance Lalique Amethyst Eclat opens with juicy and sharp resins of blackcurrant, combined with raspberry and Nashi pear. The heart of the composition blooms with peony, rose, and magnolia, accompanied by warm and elegant notes of Oxalis violace, blackberry, and sensual musk in the base. According to cosmetic experts, the emphasis in this new edition is on intense notes of peonies over fruity notes with a hint of musk.
