Tom Ford Santal Blush Perfume by Tom Ford, Tom Ford Santal Blush is an Oriental woody women’s perfume with woody, warm spicy, balsamic, powdery, and musky main accords. Announced in 2011, this fragrance was created by perfumer Yann Vasnier of Givaudan. The scent releases head notes of cinnamon, cumin, carrot seeds, fenugreek, and Indian spices, which leads to middle notes of ylang-ylang, jasmine, and rose. The base notes of sandalwood, Virginia cedar, oud, benzoin, and musk conclude this performance. With long-lasting longevity and moderate sillage, the fragrance wears best on fall days and evenings. Tom Ford studied architecture at New York’s Parsons School of Design and gained an internship at the fashion house Chloe, which led to positions with Cathy Hardwick and Perry Ellis before becoming Gucci’s creative director in 1992. He left Gucci in 2004 and established his own brand in 2005, offering fashions, eyewear, and accessories. He added fragrances and cosmetics in 2006 after forming a partnership with Estee Lauder.
